Peter Saville in conversation

British graphic design guru in conversation with Lisa Le Feuvre

Peter Saville’s graphic work ranges from seminal record covers for Joy Division and New Order to art direction for the cultural image of Manchester. Saville studied graphic design at Manchester Polytechnic and in 1979 he became a founding partner of Factory Records, the infamous and renowned record label. Post-Factory clients include Yohji Yamamoto, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney. Saville will respond to Lawrence Weiner’s exhibition and discuss his own work in the context of the UK graphic art scene with Lisa Le Feuvre, Curator of Contemporary Art, NMM.
