The Music of the Light

Experience the Guildhall School of Music and Drama composing with Turrell's Light at the Institute.

The composition department will be using James Turrell: A Life in Light as stimuli to create an installation of music interlaced and interacting with the art pieces within the gallery spaces. This evening will be a unique opportunity to experience the composer’s response to Turrell through a series of musical installations that change throughout the duration of the work, governed either by changes in the art-work itself by the audience’s reactions to the art.
