Sarah Staniforth, Historic Properties Director of the National Trust will discuss these and other issues relating to conservation of cultural heritage.
Public Conservation Lecture and Reception to celebrate the opening of the new Conservation Centre at the British Library and to coincide with the Seventh international Dunhuang Projectâs Conference on the Conservation of Silk Road Materials.

Sarah Staniforth is former Head Conservator at the National Trust and, for many years, has served on the Council of IIC (The International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works). She has written and lectured extensively on preventive conservation.
