A guided tour from Herb Garden to Herb Garret, showing traditional remedies
Starting within the fresh herb garden of St George the Martyr Church, the tour leads to the 18th century church of Old St Thomas' Hospital for a demonstration of traditional medicinal preparations - digestives, infusions, poultices and pills!
Starts at 2pm at St Georgeâs Garden, West Side of St Georgeâs Church
Borough High St, Southwark SE1,
Nearest Tube - Borough.
Garden contains the wall of the infamous Marshalsea Prison.
