The Insect Roadshow

Calling all insect lovers. Join us as we take a look at some of the creepies crawling around your garden.

Calling all insect lovers. To mark the start of National Insect Week we will be taking a look at some of the creepies crawling around the UK and invite you to bring in any insects you have collected for identification by our entomologist Stuart Hine. Many live UK species will also be on display so why not join us as, with your help, we bring the studio crawling to life. A must for bug fans, keen gardeners and insect-mad kids.

Note: Transport your bug to the Museum carefully. Rest the insect on leaves or a twig inside a jar. Then cover the jar with a paper or tin foil lid that is full of holes to ensure your insect has plenty of oxygen to breathe.
