Salon or Seminar debates ART & POLITICS

A Salon or Seminar debate, discussing the relationships between art and politics -part of a series of cultural debates, like an arty radio version of the programme Question Time.
Turn up, contribute and participate.

- Should art be socially relevant, and if so, how should this be assessed?
- Who should make decisions about artistic policy?
- How can art activate interest in politics and the public sphere?

This Salon or Seminar debate is part of Richard DeDomenici's residency 'Normalisation of Deviance' and the 'Art of Protest' event series at the Pump House Gallery, which runs until May 28th 2007:
