Launch of ARTICLE 19's report on attacks on journalists in Mexico in 2006.
In 2006, up to 9 media workers were killed in Mexico, 3 âdisappearedâ and many more were harassed and threatened including reporters working for community radios. Few perpetrators have been brought to account so far for these crimes, and an overall climate of impunity predominates.
