Professor Philip John shares his knowledge of medieval methods of indigo production.
In connection with the 'Indigo: A Blue To Dye For' exhibition, Professor Philip John from the University of Reading shares his knowledge of medieval methods of indigo production from plants plus the technique of fermenting woad in a vat, which was at one time used for indigo dyeing.
