The art of travel by water

Free talk to celebrate Museums & Galleries Month

People have mastered the art of travelling by water since earliest times. These lively 30-minute gallery talks will look at the different ways travel by ship and boat has been represented by artists, ranging from early-17th century Dutch paintings, the Bristol School, and up to contemporary works in the collection.
