Life Under the Antarctic Ice

Join us as we discover what life lurks deep in the waters under the Antarctic ice.

Antarctica is a land of ice. In the winter months, when there can be 24 hours of darkness, the ocean surrounding the continent is covered by sea ice, dramatically altering the marine environment. Although these harsh conditions would seem to inhibit life, the opposite is in fact true. Join us as we discover what life lurks under the Antarctic ice.
