Interview with artist Martha Rosler whose work tackles issues ranging from gender stereotyping and advertising to war and the media


Martha Rosler, whose work is featured in both Documenta 12 and Münster Sculpture Projects 07, deals with issues ranging from homelessness, gender stereotyping and advertising to the representation of war in the media. Her phototext work The Bowery in Two Inadequate Descriptive Systems, 1974/75, is considered seminal in conceptual and postmodern practice.
