A Lousy Tale of the Naked Ape

Professor Robin Weiss (UCL Immonology & Molecular Pathology)looks at the history of infectious diseases and future epidemics


The UCL Lunch Hour Lectures are designed to give an insight into UCL’s outstanding research and how it impacts on the world today.

Delivered by UCL’s leading academics, the lectures offer a lively and accessible introduction to a broad range of disciplines, from art to zoology and beyond.

Held at UCL’s Gower Street site, at the Darwin Lecture Theatre, each lecture lasts 40 minutes (1.15–1.55pm) and is free, with no ticket required and no need to book. You are welcome to bring your lunch along – or refreshments are on sale before each lecture.
