Tate Modern curator Jessica Morgan talks about Contemporary Photography at Pump House Gallery

An opportunity to hear Tate Modern curator, Jessica Morgan, give an informal talk around the themes, ideas and practices presented in the group show Anything You Want, currently on display at the Pump House Gallery.

Morgan will be discussing the background and history of the works on display, and suggesting the different ways in which we as an audience can participate in the reading of the artwork. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers at the end of the talk.

Anything You Want is a group show highlighting some of the most innovative approaches to contemporary photographic practice by three international artists; Walead Beshty from Los Angeles, Anne Collier from New York and Annette Kelm from Berlin. For both Beshty and Kelm this is the first substantial presentation of their work in the UK.

Jessica Morgan is a curator and writer based in London, where she is currently Curator of Contemporary Art at Tate Modern. She has organized group exhibitions such as "Common Wealth" (2003) and "Time Zones" as well as a retrospective of the late, acclaimed German artist Martin Kippenberger (2006). In addition, she recently curated Carsten Höller's much talked about Test Site commission for Tate Modern's Turbine Hall, and is developing the first UK retrospective of the work of John Baldessari. Morgan has published and lectured extensively on contemporary art. Her writing has appeared in numerous exhibition and museum catalogues as well as in art journals such as Parkett, Artforum, Art Review, Grand Street and The Art Newspaper.
