Marking a New Era for Equality and Human Rights in Britain


The goal of the new Commission for Equality and Human Rights (CEHR) is to reduce inequality, eliminate discrimination, and protect human rights. So what challenges does the CEHR face?

Jane Campbell is CEHR commissioner and chair of the Disability Committee. Francesca Klug is professorial research fellow in LSE’s Centre for the Study of Human Rights and a CEHR commissioner. Trevor Phillips is chair of the CEHR.
