Hungary in the 21st Century

FT Business – LSE European Institute The Future of Europe lecture series


The lecture will focus on Hungary’s economic development, reform process and energy security. The Prime Minister will also touch on Hungary’s unique opportunity to be a leader in the knowledge base economy.

Ferenc Gyurcsány is Prime Minister of Hungary, a position he has held since October 2004. Prior to this he served as Minister of Children, Youth and Sports from 2003-04.
