Inveterate traveller and zoologist Mark Carwardine has written more than 40 books, including the best-selling Last Chance to See with Douglas Adams. He is Chairman of the Judging Panel for the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition and writes columns in BBC Wildlife Magazine and Wanderlust.
