Privacy is dead. Long live privacy?

New technologies raise new questions about the meaning of privacy. While we seem ready to share revealing information with hundreds of 'friends' on Facebook, we are increasingly anxious to protect it from intrusive companies and government agencies who can monitor our digital lives. Are privacy concerns simply technophobic, or are we right to worry about a loss of control? Have new technologies actually transformed our notions of public and private?
