Dollarisation and Gresham's Law

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Will there in the future be just one or two currencies?

An epitome of Sir Thomas Gresham's Law is that bad money drives out good money. In many parts of the world, however,it seems that the opposite is happening, with volatile and inflation-ridden currencies giving way to the US dollar. Was Gresham wrong? Under what conditions does dollarisation and perhaps later Euroisation take place? How far will these currencies spread?
