This lecture will look at road pricing and new solutions to congestion. With planned improvements to the existing road and rail networks, and the expansion of key airports, the traveller will have to pay the price for the pollution and congestion that their journeys cause. But at what cost?
Speakers include Professor David Begg, publisher Transport Times, Professor Stephen Glaister, Professor of Transport and Infrastructure, Imperial College London, Michele Dix, Managing Director, Planning, Transport for London - responsible for road user charging and Paul Watters, Head of Public Affairs, Automobile Association
