Effective New Ways of Improving Public Awareness of Modern Clinical Science

A 30 minute talk followed by a guided walk on modern clinical science

Following Victorian Srugery at 2pm, this illustrated talk by Dr David Leaback will discuss how the great historical surgical advances, many made within Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, can lead us to a closer understanding and evaluation of modern hospital research. The talk will last approximately 30 minutes and be followed by a short walk through Guy’s Hospital Campus to see where many of these exciting ground breaking events took place.
