A 30 minute talk followed by a guided walk on modern clinical science
Following Victorian Srugery at 2pm, this illustrated talk by Dr David Leaback will discuss how the great historical surgical advances, many made within Guyâs and St Thomasâ Hospitals, can lead us to a closer understanding and evaluation of modern hospital research. The talk will last approximately 30 minutes and be followed by a short walk through Guyâs Hospital Campus to see where many of these exciting ground breaking events took place.
