An introduction to analysing and describing British English dialects and accents and a demonstration of the BL Learning's Sounds Familiar website.
Jonathan Robinson, who created the British Library resource Sounds Familiar will introduce this resource and discuss ways of using it in undergraduate project work. (Mainly aimed at level 1 students but open to all).
