Sir Henry Trizard's Secret Mission to America August 1940 provided the USA with many of Britain's technological achievements.


Foremost technology was the Cavity Magnetron that applied to radar helped shorten the WW2 The fascinating story will be related by Stephen Phelps at the Inaugural Peter Lindsay Memorial Lecture
Phelps is a tv producer and broadcaster whose productions include "Rough Justice" (BBC) and "Trial & Error" (C4)
Alan Reddish, a former colleague of Lindsay will give a brief personal reminiscence of Peter Lindsay and his seminal work on the magnetron
