RSA Thursday: Portraying the Brain

Join renowned neurologist Adam Zeman

How can we make sense of the fact that we are simultaneously physical systems, living creatures and conscious minds?

Join renowned neurologist Adam Zeman at the RSA for an entertaining and revealing exploration of the various levels of the brain, from atom to psyche.

Adam Zeman is professor of cognitive and behavioral neurology at Peninsula Medical School. He is the author of A Portrait of the Brain and Consciousness: A User’s Guide, both published by Yale University Press.

Chaired by Raymond Tallis, physician, philosopher, poet and novelist and author of The Kingdom of Infinite Space: A Fantastical Journey Round Your Head (forthcoming 2008, Atlantic).
