This lecture in Westminster Abbey is to be given by the Rt Revd Frank Tracy Griswold, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, USA, 1997-2006
Charles Gore (1853-1932) was one of the most distinguished churchmen of his day. He was a leading High Churchman, who sought, with prophetic clarity, to bring Catholic principles to bear on social problems. Gore was a prolific author who explored orthodox Christian teaching in the light of contemporary questions.
This lecture is to be given by the Rt Revd Frank Tracy Griswold, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, USA, 1997-2006. He served as Co-Chair of the Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commission (ARCIC). Bishop Frank has lectured and led conferences and retreats throughout his ministry.
