Deploying, Developing and Assessing Tomorrowâs Asset Managers
Employers of choice know they need to be specific about how to develop their competence requirements.
Recognising this, the IAM published its Competence Requirements Framework in June 2006. This was the first systematic attempt to describe what asset managers should be able to do and know. It has been widely adopted by asset-rich organisations for building and managing AM teams. The IAM is now conducting a thorough review, taking on board extensive user feedback, to create version 2.0 of the Framework. At this seminar, the draft version will be worked through in detail, for the first time in an open industry forum.
The seminar presents a unique opportunity to hear the new Framework explained by its authors. Attendees will also be able to discuss the Framework with like-minded AM professionals and get hands-on with it in three specialty workshops focused on learning and development, recruitment and selection, and team building.
Learn from the Frameworkâs authors how to:
⢠Produce job descriptions, and recruit and select asset managers
⢠Analyse learning and development needs and review performance
⢠Design and build effective asset management teams
⢠Tailor V2.0 and use it in conjunction with PAS 55
