Clearing a Space: reflections on India, literature and culture

Amit Chaudhuri in conversation with Peter D McDonald, will discuss literature, culture and music, as well as his angular relationship to post coloniality and the tradition of Indian writing in English after Rushdie.

Amit Chaudhuri is a novelist, and his book of essays, Clearing a Space, will be published in June 2008. Peter D McDonald is fellow and university lecturer at St Hugh’s College, Oxford.
