Guided tour around a living herb garden, and demonstration of old apothecary remedies
Starting within the fresh herb garden of St George the Martyr Church, Southwark, there will be a short walk to the oak beamed Herb Garret of Old St Thomasâ Hospital for a demonstration of traditional medicinal preparations: poultices, infusions and pills.
Event starts at St Georgeâs Garden,
West Side of St Georgeâs Church, Borough High Street.

Garden contains the wall of the infamous Marshalsea Prison
