A short talk on the attributes and application of counselling and psychotherapy.
This talk will explain who might seek therapy and what issues therapy can help with. It will highlight the different therapeutic approaches - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Humanistic/Person-Centred Counseling, Existential-Phenomenological, Psychoanalytic, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Analytic, EMDR and Gestalt perspectives.
This talk is designed for adults who are considering undergoing counselling in London - or for general interest - and need some guidance to clarify the numerous possibilities that counselling and psychotherapy offer.
