Artist Nils Norman discusses his public commissions and poster artworks, including âIdeal Cityâ and âFantasy Piccadilly Lineâ for London Underground.
British artist Nils Norman will discuss his public commissions and poster artworks, including âIdeal Cityâ and âFantasy Piccadilly Lineâ for Piccadilly Underground station and Piccadilly line trains. Normanâs work considers alternative urban politics through a mix of art, activism and dark humour. He exhibits internationally and collaborates with a range of artists, architects and designers. Recent projects include a media campaign to encourage exploration of Liverpoolâs parks and a series of poster works for bus shelters in Portsmouth. He is currently working on a school playground project for the new Golden Lane Campus in East London. Organised in association with Art on the Underground.
