Guatemala – textile heritage

Anthropologist Ed Carter takes a look at the rich textile heritage of Guatemala and what it reveals about Mayan culture and identity. The talk will be illustrated with examples of weaving tools and vibrant costume and fabrics he has collected for Bristol’s Museums, Galleries & Archives.
