Familiar to all at Christmas but what do we really know about Mistletoe? Jon Briggs has made a special study of this amazing plant subject to a vast industry, not only as a symbol of love but as a regular inspiration for art work and especially for art nouveau.


Familiar to all at Christmas but what do we really know about Mistletoe? Jon Briggs has made a special study of this amazing plant subject to a vast industry, not only as a symbol of love but as a regular inspiration for art work and especially for art nouveau.

Jonathan Briggs is a self-employed consultant who until recently was the Conservation Officer for British Waterways. A Bristol University graduate he has studied mistletoe in Europe and Africa and is a leading light in the Tenbury Wells mistletoe festival.
