ASEN/Nations and Nationalism public debate
For this debate the participants will discuss the theses of David Laitin's latest book, Nations, States and Violence, and, more generally, the 'rational choice' approach to the study of nationalism.
Michael Banton is emeritus professor of sociology, University of Bristol. David Laitin is professor of political science at Stanford University. Montserrat Guibernau is professor of politics at Queen Mary University of London.
