Reforming the voting systems of the IMF and World Bank?

Ariel Buira will argue for radical voting reforms to achieve democratic legitimacy and effectiveness; Dennis Leech will present voting power analyses of recent reform proposals.

Ariel Buira is a member of the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations and former executive director of the International Monetary Fund. Dennis Leech is professor of economics, University of Warwick and co-director of Voting Power and Procedures, CPNSS, LSE.
