Poetry inspired by astronomy, presented by Professor Jocelyn Bell-Burnell, President of the Institute of Physics.
As a hobby Professor Jocelyn Bell-Burnell, President of the Institute of Physics, 'collects' poetry with an astronomical theme. In this talk she will review the field and look at which astronomical topics have caught the attention of poets, and how they have handled them. There will be readings (volunteers appreciated!) of selected poems.
