Be Commanded by Julius Caesar on how to Put up a Shelf

WHAT COULD BE BETTER IN OUR CREDIT CRUNCH TIMES THAN TO MASTER THE ART OF DIY?

London commuters have suffered squalid conditions on transport long enough.
Now with the help of The School of Life’s DIY theatre, they will get the confidence to wallpaper their tube stations, carpet the escalators, and put up shelves in the train
carriages.

To celebrate the publication of Sartre’s Sink: The Great Writers’ Complete Book of DIY the author, artist and photographer Mark Crick will be enacting a very special series of nightly lessons for commuters at The School of Life. Instruction is free, fantastically theatrical, drop‐in entertainment, and in the style of the world’s greatest writers: Tonight learn from the great Roman Emperor Julius Caesar
