Islamic Finance in the United Kingdom: current initiatives and challenges

This lecture reflects on the current developments and initiatives in Islamic finance in the UK, in particular by the UK government, and explains how this faith-based form of finance continues to enhance modern finance and law.

Shaykh Esam M Ishaq is an Islamic Shariah scholar. Ian Pearson is the economic secretary to the Treasury.
