Religion in the Media: Past, Present, Future

Michael Wakelin, Head of Ethics and Religion at the BBC visits De Montfort University to discuss religion in the media.

On behalf of De Montfort University, St. Philip’s Centre and the Council of Faiths it gives me great pleasure to invite you to this special event being held at De Montfort University. Michael Wakelin from the BBC will be joining us to discuss the topic of religion in the media.

The lecture will be taking place at 6:00pm and will last for approximately forty minutes with time at the end for questions. After the lecture, we would be delighted if you would join us for complimentary drinks and canapés in the downstairs foyer of the Queens Building.

If you would like to attend the event or would like more information, please contact Daniel Jones on 0116 257 7452 or email eventsoffice@dmu.ac.uk by Friday 9th January 2009. Please note that spaces are limited so it is advisable to confirm your attendance as soon as possible. Parking will be available in the visitor’s car park on Deacon Street. Directions can be found at http://www.dmu.ac.uk/aboutdmu/campuses/maps/leic_campus.jsp

I do hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be a very interesting discussion.
