We are delighted to present a unique opportunity to hear Hollywood scriptwriter Joe Eszterhas discuss his new book, Hollywood Animal. The first screenwriter to make the movie industry's 100 Most Powerful People list, Joe Eszterhas became famous for writing the screenplay to 1983 blockbuster Flashdance. Subsequent movies, Basic Instinct and Showgirls, established his reputation for controversial thrillers involving 'blue-collar babes' and scandalous sex scenes. Tonight will give Eszterhas the chance to counter accusations of misogyny and violence, and review his own experience of the industry.
