How does the greater manipulability and portability of digital film change the work of the film-maker and the perspective of the audience?
A small number of major film-makers, including Mike Figgis and David Lynch, now work mainly or exclusively using digital film. As part of the Feedback Series Mike Figgis, author of Digital Filmmaking and director of Leaving Las Vegas and Internal Affairs, comes to the ICA to lecture on the aesthetic possibilities latent in digital film.
