Religion, Caste and Politics in India - Satish Kapur.
Satish is a member of the Board of Leicester Secular Society, and has been a member of the Society for many years.
He will give a personal account of his recent 2 month visit to India.
Satish grew up in the city of Dera Ismail Khan (now NW Frontier Province, Pakistan) and was forced to move to India at a tender age. He has been an educator in Leicester for 40 years.

Except where stated, all meetings are free (a collection will be taken), open to the general public, and held at Secular Hall on Sundays at 6:30pm. If a lecture is cancelled a discussion meeting will be held instead, on topics proposed by those present. |
