Charlie Chaplin: Man of the Theatre

David Robinson, the world's leading authority on Chaplin, talks about the actor/director's early career and later involvement in theatre.


David Robinson, former film critic of The Times, author of the definitive biography of Chaplin (on which Richard Attenborough's film was based) and long enthusiast for music hall and theatre history talks with authority and visual evidence on Chaplin's stage career. Part of the Society for Theatre Research's annual lecture series.
