Symposium: Rethinking Clay

A symposium to complement A Secret History of Clay: From Gauguin to Gormley (28 May - 30 Aug)


This symposium brings together leading scholars, critics and artists to explore how contemporary artistic practice has re-defined the parameters of working with and thinking about clay.

Chaired by Emmanuel Cooper, speakers include: Richard Deacon, Edward Lucie-Smith Clare Twomey, Martina Margetts, and Edmund De Waal.
