Free Lunchtime lecture by Penny Strivens of the Royal Armouries Museum
Most of King Henry VIIIâs surviving suits of armour have been brought together this year by the Royal Armouries in a new exhibition "Henry VIII: Dressed to Kill". Penny Strivens from the Royal Armouries Museum at the Tower of London will talk about elements of Henryâs reign and his fascination with arms and armour, and how through the increasing sizes of his armour we can discover Henry the athletic young prince and Henry the unhealthy, ageing king.
