Insight with Nick Hawton: The Quest for Radovan Karadzic

Nick Hawton will be talking to the BBC's Allan Little about his dogged search for the notorious war criminal that took him from the mountains of Montenegro to eastern Bosnia and into the corridors of power in Belgrade.

As the BBC’s correspondent in Sarajevo and Belgrade from 2002 to 2008 Nick Hawton made it his mission to find the former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic.

Discussing his new book The Quest for Radovan Karadzic, Nick Hawton casts light on the murky world of intrigue, murder and dirty deals he discovered on a journey that took him to the heart of Balkan politics, crime and espionage.

This event will be chaired by Allan Little, BBC world affairs correspondent

Nick Hawton was the BBC’s Foreign Correspondent in the former Yugoslavia from 2002-08 and has written extensively on war crimes issues. He currently lives in Sarajevo with his family.
