This event will look at the rights of creatives when their work is used as a part of a complex environment.
This event is delivered in two modules covering different aspects of the subject.
Module 1:
We will identify the legal framework of complex creative environments and explain which IP rights are involved in a traditional film or theatre production in which many creative professionals collaborate. A legal expert will advise what kind of agreements need to be in place and when best to negotiate terms and conditions with contributors, such as the script writer or set designer.
Admission is free however places are limited. To find out more or to register and book online please visit: http://www.own-it.org/events. These events are organised by Own-it in collaboration with Creative Industries Trafford/Manchester. Both events take place from 6- 9pm with presentations until 8pm, followed by drinks/networking until 9pm.
