A weekly exploration of the connection between meditation and living an engaged life.
What is the connection between meditation and living an engaged life? Our Meditation + Evolution evenings provide a fascinating experiential exploration of this question. Immerse yourself in the timeless ground of being through a guided meditation. Then learn how meditation can help us to awaken to the evolutionary impulse that is the very life force within us. An important part of the evening is the lively group discussion that follows, revealing many aspects of this exciting new understanding and its relevance to an engaged life.
Providing a great way to connect with a community of like-minded individuals who seek deeper meaning in their lives, the evenings are led by committed practitioners with many yearsâ experience of this emergent field of evolutionary spirituality.
These events form part of a powerful developmental programme called the Discovery Cycle which EnlightenNext launched in the summer of 2009.
Held every Tuesday, these popular events begin at 7.00pm and are free to first-time visitors (£4 thereafter). Immediately after the programme, at 8.30pm, the conversation continues over a delicious vegetarian dinner in our Centre restaurant (£7). They take place at the UK Centre of EnlightenNext in Islington.
