The Way Out… Short Films and Discussion on the disabled vanguard with Maxa Zoller, Justin Edgar and

Curzon Cinemas and Beaconsfield have collaborated to present a provocative programme of short films in response to issues raised by the disabled
artists' collective 15mm Films in their film project ‘The Way Out’ (2009)

“Disability has never had its revolutionary moment: no Suffrage, Stonewall or Watts Riots..."

Films by Stephen Dwoskin, Andrew Kötting, Kim Noble, Sandra Lahire, Lou Birks and Justin Edgar are punctuated by the series of irreverent film trailers which comprise the ‘The Way Out’ by 15mm Films.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with film directors Aaron Williamson and Justin Edgar and lecturer in moving image art Maxa Zoller.

Early booking is advised to secure your seat for the screening. We regret that there are limited places available for wheelchair users so advance booking is essential. Please call the Curzon Soho direct to reserve wheelchair spaces 020 7734 9209.
