Songs of life and hope:

Enjoy an evening of Mexican poetry from the first half of the 20th century, spanning the turbulent years of the Mexican Revolution and its aftermath.

The evening features leading experts on Mexican literature and readings from the work of poets such as José Juan Tablada, Enrique González Martínez, Ramón López Velarde and the Nicaraguan poet Rubén Darío, together with music from the Mexican Revolution. All poetry will be read in the original Spanish and in English translation.
