Dr. Joe Cain (UCL Science and Technology Studies) introduces a groundbreaking film that thrilled audiences of the time with its underwater photography. One of the original Hollywood sci-fi blockbusters, this film features remarkable scenes of coral reefs, sharks, and special-effect octopuses.
