Matthew Parris
A writer and commentator, Matthew had formerly worked for the Foreign Office and was a Conservative MP between 1979 and 1986.
In 2005 he won the Orwell Prize for Journalism. His diary appears in The Times on Thursdays, and his Opinion column on Saturdays.
He has published many books on travel and politics and an autobiography, Chance Witness. He has led numerous expeditions as well as being a regular visitor to Colombia.
Sarah Woods
An award-winning freelance travel writer, editor, guidebook author and broadcast consultant. Sarahâs work has been published in four continents and 12 languages in over 220 consumer and trade titles (more than 1,750 articles). She is the author of 9 travel books and editorial consultant to 7 travel documentaries. She is the author of the Bradt Travel Guide to Colombia.
